Renekton has really good dueling potential early. Try to abuse your early game and look to trade religiously early.
Renekton will struggle at team fighting and getting onto the backline. Attack from the side for a better chance of surviving the team fight.
If you cannot duel the enemy laner, look to roam and help your Mid laner OR Jungler.

Renekton is considered a strong top lane champion due to his powerful laning phase, versatility, and ability to dominate both melee and ranged matchups. His kit offers a blend of sustain, mobility, crowd control, and burst damage, making him a formidable duelist and teamfighter throughout the game.

Early Game: In early matchups, Renekton should use his dominant laning phase to pressure opponents. Focus on last-hitting minions and using your abilities to trade with the enemy laner. Renekton's spikes are typically at levels 3, 6, and when he completes key items like Goredrinker and Shojin.
Mid Game: In the side lane, split-push to draw enemy attention. Renekton can 1v1 many opponents, but be mindful of map awareness and warding. Renekton can dive when ahead and with backup. Coordinate with your team, have crowd control ready, and make sure the enemy's escape routes are limited.
