Coin Master
For the Coin-Flipping Connoisseur, Not the Gamba Amateur!
Ready to embrace the thrill of the flip, but with a calculated edge? This deck isn't for those who just wildly hope for heads; it's for the connoisseur who understands risk, reward, and the sweet satisfaction of a perfectly executed coin-flip combo. We're building around the surprisingly potent Tsareena and finishing with the devastating Celebi ex.
The Core Strategy: Kick, Heal, Nuke!
Tsareena - The Early Game Queen:
Our main attacker, Tsareena, comes out swinging with its "Triple Kick Combo" attack. For just a single Grass Energy, you flip 3 coins. Each heads deals 50 damage, meaning you're looking at a potential 150 damage! On average, you'll be hitting for a very respectable 50-100 damage. "But it's a Stage 2!" I hear you cry. Fear not! With the new Rare Candy, evolving Bounsweet directly into Tsareena is more consistent than ever. Many players won't expect such a hard hit on turn two, giving you a real chance to donking an unprepared opponent or take crucial early prizes.
Bulk Up with Leaf Cape:
To keep Tsareena (and our other Grass Pokémon) in the fight, Leaf Cape is essential. This tool turns your Pokémon into veritable tanks, often preventing them from being OHKO'd by meta threats like many Pokémon ex. Be mindful, though – heavy hitters like Charizard ex and Incineroar ex can still punch through, so plan accordingly!
Sustain & Survive - Mallow & Lillie:
Lillie & Mallow is a lifeline for Tsareena. Lillie, you know it. Mallow? When your Queen is looking worse for wear, Mallow can fully heal it! The catch? You discard all energy attached. But for Tsareena, who only needs one energy to attack, this is a small price to pay for a full reset.
Celebi ex - The Late Game Hammer:
While Tsareena is applying pressure, we're quietly building our true powerhouse on the bench: Celebi ex. This is arguably the hardest-hitting Pokémon in the deck. I've personally managed to get 6+ energy onto Celebi ex, and its Bloom attack at that point is simply game-ending. It’s the perfect finisher after Tsareena has softened up the opponent's board.
Erika - Keeping Celebi Blooming:
Sometimes, Celebi ex might take a hit before it's fully charged. Erika serves as crucial sustain here, providing a timely 50 HP heal. This can be just enough to keep Celebi ex alive for another turn, allowing it to gather more energy and unleash an even bigger Bloom.
The Game Plan Summarized:
- We play Bounsweet.
- We evolve it (ideally quickly with Rare Candy) to Tsareena.
- We start combo kicking the opponent, using Leaf Cape, Mallow & Lillie for sustain.
- We patiently build up Celebi ex on the bench.
- Then, when the time is right, we switch in Celebi ex and nuke the opponent with a massive Bloom for the win!
This deck rewards skillful sequencing, understanding matchups, and, yes, a LOT of luck with those crucial flips. But when it comes together, it's a beautiful thing to watch.
This deck is not for you tail flippers!
