Quick Resume

It's a deck that relies in Crobat and Arceus EX combo being supported by Darkrai Ex and Kanghaskan. It's a very late game deck that suffers against fighting decks early agression.

Why Darkrai?

It's all about consistency. Playing leaf energies with Carnivine makes an opening with Crobat way less dangerous and letting all to a highroll to win the game.

Darkrai + Crobat its a garanteed 50 damage without attacking which is way more damage that a double Greninja can do.

Darkrai kills:

• Tapu Lele
• Every phase 1
• Rampardos after killing

Darkrai fully tanks:

• Decidueye EX
• Rampardos
• Garchomp EX
• Solgaleo EX
• Giratina EX

I tested with 2 copies but almost everytime you find Darkrai, since is a support to Crobat's damage.

Why Kanghaskan?

I tryed 3 different supporters for basic pokémons and these are my thoughts:

• 2nd Darkrai: 2 Darkrais are not needed to push the damage, and also you want to start charging your Arceus EX too since it's your higher damage output. Also since Oricorio is a real threat, you can leave that open to 4 EX cards.
• Farfetch: Offensive best option, but existing Solgaleo EX with 2 Giovannis, you can face an Skarmory in turn 2 and losing the game instantly.
• Kanghaskan: If high roll insane damage output. Can take EVERY Basic pokémon (which can evolve). It has enought tankyness and can be pulled to hand with Liam.

Bad Matchups

Any rarecandy abusing team (Solgaleo EX, Incineroar/Charizard, Rampardos/Garchomp) can win you easily cause they can allways draw all the cards and win the game.

Always lead with Kanghaskan and try to shutdown their basics pokémon in order to stop them from stomping you at turn 3/4.

if there is no Kanghaskan, try to lead with the bulkiest pokémon you have. if they don't hit their wincon at turn 3/4 you'll have a lot of chances to disrupt them, try to use Liam to stop them to get any points while you build up your bench.

Good Matchups

Darkrai Giratina

Always look for build up your Darkrai in bench while you other pokes tank the chip damage.

Try always to focus on lead pokémon and force them to change everytime they feel in range of kill.

Every energy and every trainer you get is key.

Any Oricorio - Greninja

This deck will always chip more damage per turn than those control decks. Try to rush as soon as posible Crobat in order to pressure your opponent into bad choices.

Carnivine Arceus

Your deck is way more consistent and get way more damage output. You'll lose only bricked games.

ITEMS:

Poison Barb / Rocky helmet: You don't need to protect you from enemies hitting.

Pokémon Comunications: I took it away cause usually got bricked. It's an amazing card.

Potions: 20 healing doesn't make such difference like the cape. Sometimes you can trick them to use Guzma losing tempo.

Red card: Really good card, you can use it.

TRAINERS:

Joy: 30 healing is really good but Liam is such strong with many bulky colorless.

Red/Giovanni: Since you are always chipping damage you don't need extra damage.

Cyrus: That's controversial, is up to you. I preffer Sabrina since usually you use it to force the enemy into bad spots and you want to grab a full heal enemy or an early fossil.

Team Rocket Grump: I love this card, it loses more games than wins.

Guzma: GOATED card, really good into Solgaleo and Darkrai-Giratina matchups.

Venus: I'm really bad using her, I always use her at bad tempo so I took it out for Iono.
