Lycanroc EX is actually a pretty good pokemon. Its 150 HP combined with 130 DMG for 3 energy makes it an incredibly treathening pokemon for you opponent once it gets going. The Rockruff can help find the pieces while Passimian acts as a wall in the early game. Give the monkey an especially pointy helmet to help with the early game DMG and tank through the early game until the big dawg in the back is ready to go. I have found that one copy of Leaf is essential considering the high retreat cost and energy investment of this deck. A really cool tech card is Midnight Lycanroc, since sometimes you just end up going first with a Rockruff lead or you are getting aggroed down, so a 100 HP 2 energy attacker with the potential of doing 100-120 (with Red) could be just what you needed to get back in the game (also one shots the stupid yellow bird due to weakness). Giant Cape is another tech card especially useful on a Rockruff lead since it allows it to survive 60 DMG attacks or potentially 2 attacks from Type:Null if they don't roll 2 heads (you'd think it's a 50/50).
