This deck's win condition revolves around setting up Krookodile and Tyranitar to disrupt your opponent's hand and control energy distribution. Krookodile's 'Poaching Fangs' can shuffle cards from your opponent's hand into their deck, creating a strategic advantage. Tyranitar's 'Energy Plunder' ability allows you to consolidate all Darkness energy onto it, preparing for a powerful attack with 'Buster Tail'. Early game, focus on evolving Sandile into Krookodile using Rare Candy for quicker access. Use Lillie to sustain your Stage 2 Pokémon and maintain field presence. Prioritize attaching Darkness energy to Tyranitar, using its ability to reallocate energy when needed. Use Pokémon Communication to ensure you have the evolution cards in hand, and Red Card to disrupt your opponent's strategy.

I haven't seen many people taking full advantage of Krookodile with the newest set of cards yet, so I figured I'd put a deck out to capitalize on that. Thanks to the emergence of Will and the Dark Pendant tool, you can almost always guarantee your opponent never has a hand from which to play their cards. The Trainer will always guarantee Krookodile hits at least one card in your opponent's hand, and the Tool will further bulk your opponent's library, making drawing the right card all the harder. Combine it with the Red Card, especially after your opponent plays a Research or a Sylveon EX, and really annoy your opponent when their hand goes from ten cards to none in a flash.

Tyranitar is the chaser of the deck, with its ability to steal Energy from the rest of your benched Pokémon to empower itself, but it can also be a fantastic early-game tank. For this reason, we have the new Lyra Trainer, which is by all measures more efficient than Leaf. Let it soak up hits from your opponent's Pokémon before switching into Krookodile and denying your opponent their hand; or if your opponent is about to kill off your Krookodile, switch into Tyranitar and pop its Energy Plunder ability, then smack it for a hassle-free 130 damage.

Items and Trainers can be tweaked to your own preferences—these are just the amounts that I feel work best for me. For example, if your coin-flip luck is good enough, but you want to deny your opponent energy and momentum, maybe lose a Will in favor of Team Rocket Grunt. If you're so inclined, let me know how you'd improve this deck, or just how it works for you.
