The cosmog 1 turners
How to play
the deck is simple. you start with playing grimmer, on the from, try not playing your wooper early against fast pressure decks to secure you dont lose it. when you have the other grimmer you're safe to place the wooper but it always depends on matchup. try charging the grimmer (soon to be muk) on the back, but always holding on to the muk in your hand in cause you need to evolve him to tank some extra hits. saving the poison barb and not playing it immediately on the active grimmer is crucial since its attack already poisons the enemy pokemon, and removing muk with koga makes you lose the tool attached to it so it can be completely useless. As soon as you have the possibility, evolve your wooper, and attach an energy to it to have it ready the next turn, I also recommend holding onto one of the poison barbs to be placed on the clodsire to serve as a self-defense way.
Against backline attackers like wugtrio, greninja and/or decidueye to name a few, i recommend not evolving wooper immediately to not offer the rival a chance to get 2 poinst and instead place the wooper passively as a decoy while you target the rivals EX's for those 2prize points with grimmer and muk alone.
More interesting tips and info
this deck was born as a way to give clodsire some spotlight, and thanks to the overload of solgaleos and lunalas, this deck offers a 1shot posibility/ forced switchout against cosmogs (10base+20supereffc+10giovanni+2tics of poison) with the help of a giovanni, adding a little chip of surprise dmg.
the plays one can do with Koga are beautiful when having two muks on the field, you can evolve the active one and return it, only to throw out the other one fully charged to hit either from 70 to 120.
the deck runs 2 copies of the new toxic barb. this card is really unic since it matches perfectly with both Muk and Clodsire, my recommendation in different scenarios is to not have both of them in place at the same time to try and play around against your rival wasting a Guzma on the first one, + you have to always have in consideration poisoning your rival with a grimmer attack just to muk+koga and hit with the clodsire the following turn.
this 70 is really special because its the HP of Oricorio, the new electric type basic pokemon that is completely immune to EX pokemon attacks and one should look out for.
I recommend running 2 copies of grimmer while only 1 paldean wooper both to make the deck more consistent (so that you tent to start with grimm and communication is more spot on) but also because you are already gonna give the rival 2 points with the muks, so Clodsire is the only pokemon you want on the field at this point to protect yourself from Sabrina or similars snd because of its high retreat cost.
Mars is better off at the end of matches to prevent unexpected rival's Mars, Cyrus or Red, but you can use it early ro slow down your rivals evolution ramp. Most of the cards in this deck serve their purpose perfectly but you can always play around with it yourself. my recommendation is not removing guzma because it helps a lot against grass teams that now run the new cape and solgaleo-skarmory decks.
