Charizard remains our greatest defender against whatever latest EX runs rampant through the meta. Solgaleo can't hope to survive a 200 Crimson Blast to the face, but Oricorio does necessitate the inclusion of non-ex Zard, just in case Charmeleon's attack for 40 can't do the trick. PCL is preferred over the new Lillie since you really shouldn't be looking to heal your finisher Zard, it's rather Moltres who needs some assistance in dragging out the early game for it.

All in all, the only update the deck needs is the inclusion of Rare Candy. Genetic Apex Charizard just gets more and more consistent.
