How and when to play this comp out

The first trap to avoid when you're considering playing Disco is going in there with mostly AD items. You'll want AP items above all else. That being said, if you are on the Multi-Talented map, and you've got either Nami or Taric as Headliner in your PvE shops, even if you've got 2 BF Swords, it should be fine, aim for Giant Slayer and Hextech Gunblade.

These are nice items for Twisted Fate who will be our desired Headliner later on. If you can get at least 5 Disco, equip him with the two aforementionned items as well as an Archangel's Staff. Since fights are likely to last, he'll stack both AP and Attack speed. If you've got 3 or 4 Disco, I would prefer going with Guinsoo's Rageblade (or Red Buff), Rabadon and Jeweled Gauntlet, to make the fights explosive.

Since Disco heals the team based on max Health, we'll want Bruisers to be our frontline. Don't forget to equip them with defensive items such as Bramble and Dragon Claw (Steadfast Heart and Gargoyle will be fine too), preferably on Illaoi, since her tentacles will get the same bonus stats as her.

4 Dazzlers is, in my opinion, mandatory, both to reduce the damage dealt by as many enemy units as possible and to make the DoT dealt by our Dazzlers important.

As for the level up and roll timings, if you've got your Disco Headliner, aim for at least either Taric and another Guardian or Gragas and another Bruiser with two stars each, so you'll have a decent frontline. If your lobby isn't too strong, that should be enough to let you get to stage 4 quite smoothly.

You'll want to slow push for as long as you can, and I recommend waiting to get level 9 to switch Headliners, if possible. Indeed, it'll be at that level that you'll get the best chances to find Twisted Fate (or Blitzcrank) as a Headliner. Make sure to scout other boards to see whether you're contested or not, though. Remember that if at least 6 copies of 4 cost units are out of the pool, you won't be able to find them as a Headliner in your shop. Also, the odds for classical 4 cost units goes up to 36% at level 9, from 18% at level 8. Also, make sure to stock at least a 1 star version of your previous Headliner to replace the one you'll sell.

BUT !

If you're a bit short on HP and if there's already another person going for Disco in your board, you won't be able to afford waiting to get to level 9 as they'll most likely roll before you. And if they find them, you'll be left in a sour spot. That also means that if you've already got Twisted Fate 2 and Blitzcrank 2, they may have to roll down to get them, and might not even find them.
