How Augment "Rave Festival" Works
✨ General Review of the Augment: Rave Festival (TFT Set 10: Remix Rumble Revival)
Rave Festival is an augment with a strong EDM (Electronic Dance Music) theme, providing powerful support for compositions that revolve around the EDM trait.
🧠 Core Mechanic:
Disco Balls will automatically cast the chosen EDM champion's ability, but only at a portion of its full effectiveness. This allows your main EDM champion to trigger abilities more frequently, increasing either their damage output or crowd control depending on their kit.
You also gain a Jax and a Nami:
- Jax: A frontliner with AoE damage, useful for stabilizing during the mid-game.
- Nami: A supportive unit with strong AoE crowd control, synergizing well with magic-based or EDM comps.
✅ Pros:
- Significantly boosts DPS or CC potential of your chosen EDM carry, especially powerful with:
✔️ Lux (high AoE damage),
✔️ Zac (reliable crowd control),
✔️ Zed (multi-target damage),
✔️ Jax (high AoE damage).
- Creates an auto-cast mechanic that helps activate abilities even when mana is low.
- Enables synergy-based comps like EDM + Hyperpop, EDM + Heartsteel, and others.
❌ Cons:
- Requires the correct EDM champion selection — picking the wrong one means wasting the Disco Balls' potential.
- Casts abilities at reduced effectiveness, so burst damage may be lower unless well supported.
- Forces a commitment to EDM synergy, limiting flexibility if you need to pivot your comp mid-game.
Augment "Rave Festival" Trait Bonus
Disco Balls cast the selected EDM champion's Ability at a portion of the effectiveness. Gain a Jax and a Nami.
Since Lux shares the Dazzler trait with Twisted Fate and Zac shares the Bruiser trait with Gragas, Lux and Zac are commonly used in team comps that include the Rave Festival augment.

🔍 Conclusion:
Rave Festival is an excellent choice if you're committed to building around EDM early on and can secure a strong EDM carry (such as Lux, Zac, Zed or Jax). However, it is combo-oriented and requires a good understanding of each EDM champion’s ability to maximize value. When used effectively, this augment allows EDM comps to ramp up quickly from mid-game and dominate in the late game.
