INTRODUCTION

With the 13.15 patch, it's now possible to reclaim the various mods without having to sell your units, making it much easier to stay strong while playing Zaun. Additionally, there's a pattern that helps us determine which Mod we'll receive.

  • We'll want to place Unstable Chemtech on Jarvan so he can go to the backline and explode.
  • Robotic Arm or Virulent on Zeri.
  • Adaptive on Urgot.
  • And Hextech on Sion.

LEGENDS

  • Urf is great if you absolutely want to play Zaun, thanks to the Tome of Traits.
  • Ornn is a good choice if you want to play flexibly.

AUGMENTS

  • Zaun Crest - Gain a Zaun Emblem and a Warwick.
  • Chemtech Enhancements - Your Chem Modded units gain 500 Health. Allies that start combat adjacent to them gain 100 Health. Gain 2 Zaun units.

It's possible to stick with Zaun(4) or even go for Zaun(6), but it all depends on your game. Remember, the examples are for demonstrative purposes only, but it will still be important to stabilize when necessary by finding key units like Urgot, Zeri, and Sejuani.

ITEMIZATIONS

Guinsoo's Rageblade would be beneficial for Zeri to have the necessary attack speed boost. She indeed requires a significant amount of attack speed. Runaan's Hurricane is a very good item, providing solid stats and ensuring a strong early and mid game. Giant Slayer will provide the bonus damage in the late game.

GAME PLAN

  1. Play flexibly until level 7.
  2. Prioritize preparing items like Guinsoo's Rageblade and Warmog's Armor.
  3. It's essential to have a Zaun Emblem; otherwise, it's better to switch compositions.
  4. Roll at level 7 to stabilize.
  5. Place Unstable Explosion on Jarvan to make him jump to the backline and explode.
  6. Use Robotic Arm or Virulent on Zeri.
  7. Reach level 8 and complete the rolls.
