This is a guide to the 5-star Physical Support Yuzuha.

Best W-Engines for Yuzuha:

Yuzuha’s signature S-rank W-Engine is by far her best choice. It massively boosts her Anomaly Support role—when her EX Special hits an enemy, it increases her Anomaly Mastery by +35 for 30s, and when her Aftershock hits, it grants +60 Anomaly Proficiency to the entire squad for 30s. This weapon perfectly complements Yuzuha’s kit by amplifying her anomaly damage scaling via Anomaly Mastery and buffing team anomaly damage/buildup via Anomaly Proficiency. If available, this signature W-Engine is the optimal pick, maximizing charge/energy generation and team utility through enhanced anomaly effects. In the absence of her signature, the next best options are high-end Support W-Engines that boost energy regen and teamwide damage or anomaly stats.

Elegant Vanity, Astra Yao’s S-rank Support W-Engine: A top-tier alternative that provides excellent energy battery support and team DPS buffs. Its passive “Untold Beauty” regenerates 5 Energy for the user whenever any ally performs a Quick/Chain/Evasive Assist (max 1/5s), and whenever Yuzuha spends 25+ Energy (i.e., uses her Ultimate/EX Special), all allies’ damage increases by 10% (stacking twice for 20% total) for 20s. This weapon’s 20% teamwide damage buff and faster energy recharge let Yuzuha cast her ultimate more often (for more team energy and buffs) and boost overall DPS, making it highly synergistic with her support role.

Unfettered Game Ball (A-rank Support)—An excellent, easily obtainable W-Engine for Yuzuha focused on energy generation. It increases Yuzuha’s own EX Special/Ultimate damage by 25% and, more importantly, gives 2 Energy every 5s whenever any ally takes damage or is healed, up to 12 Energy/30s. This constant energy income significantly speeds up Yuzuha’s ultimate rotations, ensuring she can battery her team frequently. While it lacks direct anomaly buffs, the faster energy regen and uptime on her support skills make it a strong mid-tier choice if you don’t have an S-rank W-engine.

Budget B-rank picks like Reverb—Mark II/III can also work in early stages—for example, Reverb Mark II provides +16% Energy Regen and buffs all allies’ Impact (stagger) by 8% on Yuzuha’s EX Special, while Reverb Mark III buffs all allies’ Anomaly Mastery/Proficiency by +10 on her chain/EX attacks. These effects are smaller but can help generate energy and modest anomaly buffs until you obtain better gear.

Best Drive Disc Sets for Yuzuha:

For an endgame anomaly-support build, Yuzuha should use Drive Disc sets that boost her Anomaly stats and team buffs. The top sets to consider are:

4-Piece Phaethon’s Melody: Best-in-slot anomaly set. 2-piece gives +8% Anomaly Mastery, directly increasing the potency of Yuzuha’s anomaly damage (disorder damage scales with her Anomaly Mastery). The 4-piece effect further rewards Yuzuha’s playstyle: whenever her Aftershock or Dash Attack hits an enemy (and the damage matches her physical attribute), she gains a stacking buff (max 3) of +4% ATK and +4% Crit Rate for 15s. This means as Yuzuha triggers Candy Shot aftershocks frequently, she sharply raises her own damage output and crit chance, making her anomaly strikes hit harder. Stacking Phaethon’s Melody buffs maximizes Yuzuha’s personal anomaly burst and helps secure kills or quickly trigger Disorder on tough enemies. This set is ideal for content like Deadly Assault, where you want maximum anomaly DPS from Yuzuha while still buffing allies via her high anomaly mastery.

4-Piece Astral Voice: Excellent team-buffing anomaly set. The 2-piece gives +10% ATK to bolster Yuzuha’s base attack (helpful since her buffs scale with ATK). Its 4-piece passive greatly supports an anomaly playstyle in team rotations: whenever any squad member uses an Ultimate/EX Special, Yuzuha gains +45 Anomaly Proficiency for 8s; if an ally (not Yuzuha herself) triggered the ult, Yuzuha also gains +25% “Ether” damage during that time. In practice, this means Yuzuha is rewarded whenever allies cast their ultimates—her anomaly proficiency spikes, making her next anomaly support actions (like Candy Shot or Disorder triggers) much stronger. The damage buff applies if she has any Ether damage (her Disorder/Anomaly damage is non-physical, so it can benefit). Astral Voice is perfect in teams where Yuzuha rotates her ultimate alongside strong DPS ultimates: as the DPS unloads their EX Special, Yuzuha’s anomaly boost kicks in, readying her to follow up with empowered Aftershocks. This set boosts team DPS indirectly by ensuring Yuzuha’s anomaly debuffs and damage are at peak strength when it counts.

4-piece Shadow Harmony, which boosts Aftershock & Dash Attack damage by +15% (2-Piece) and grants stacking crit rate on using EX/Chain, can further amplify Yuzuha’s Candy Shot damage and ensure her crit-triggered passive procs. It’s a solid choice if you want to maximize Yuzuha’s own anomaly damage and crit rate for triggering Chain Attacks (her EX Special crit forces a chain). However, it provides less direct team support than the above sets. Proto Punk (4-PC) is another niche set that gives +30% Crit DMG when Yuzuha’s Anomaly Mastery ≥115 (which she meets easily at endgame) and +12% Crit Rate when allies Freeze or Shatter enemies. This can pad Yuzuha’s damage in teams that utilize crowd-control anomalies, but it’s generally less impactful for pure support. Overall, Phaethon’s Melody and Astral Voice are the top 4 Star sets for Yuzuha’s anomaly-buffer role, with Branch & Blade (or similar assist-oriented sets) as strong alternatives if your team composition leverages her frequent assist triggers.

Optimal Drive Disc Stats (Main & Sub) for Yuzuha:

To fully optimize Yuzuha for endgame anomaly support, focus on Energy regeneration, Anomaly stats, and offensive buffs in her Drive Disc stats. Below is a breakdown of recommended main stats by Disc slot and sub-stats to prioritize:

Main Stat Priorities by Slot: For the highest impact, aim for Energy Regen% and Anomaly Mastery on the slots that can roll them, supplemented by ATK%. In practice:

Slot 4—Anomaly Mastery % (primary choice). Slot 4 is one of the slots that can yield Anomaly Mastery as a base stat. Stacking Anomaly Mastery here greatly boosts Yuzuha’s Disorder/Anomaly damage (which scales with this stat) and strengthens any anomaly damage boost she provides to the team. Alternate: If Anomaly Mastery refuses to drop, ATK% is a decent fallback on this slot (it can also appear in Slot 4) to raise her ATK-based buffs.

Slot 5 – ATK%. Slot 5 can roll ATK% (as well as flat ATK or DEF/PEN). An ATK% main stat increases Yuzuha’s base attack, which is important since some of her support buffs scale with her ATK (her kit provides an ATK-scaling buff to allies). A high ATK also improves any personal damage she deals. This is the preferred stat for slot 5, as it directly amplifies her support effectiveness.

Slot 6 – Energy Regen%. Slot 6 is unique in that it can roll Energy Regen as a main stat (alongside options like HP%, ATK%, Anomaly Mastery, etc.). Energy Regen is extremely valuable for Yuzuha: it increases the rate at which she generates Ultimate energy (increasing her “Charge point” generation). More energy means more frequent EX Special casts, which translates to more team Energy batteries (her Ult gives 32 energy to allies) and more anomaly buffs uptime. Aim for an Energy Regen main stat on slot 6 to reach a high regen threshold. If you absolutely cannot get Energy Regen on slot 6, you could take Anomaly Mastery or ATK% there and rely on sub-stats for energy; however, hitting a high Energy Regen target is crucial for endgame support play.

Sub-Stat Priorities: In sub-stats, Yuzuha wants to stack stats that enhance her support abilities and anomaly output. You can have up to 4 sub-stats per disc. The ideal sub-stats to prioritize are:

  1. Energy Regen %: If you didn’t get Energy % main or if you need more, any sub-stat rolls into Energy Regen will help reach the recommended regen threshold. Every bit of Energy% shortens Yuzuha’s Ult cooldown, which is invaluable.

  2. Anomaly Proficiency: This is a key sub-stat for anomaly builds. Anomaly Proficiency increases the rate and potency of anomaly buildup on enemies, meaning Yuzuha can trigger Disorder effects faster and boost allied anomaly damage application. Since Yuzuha’s kit revolves around causing anomalies (her Candy Shot Aftershocks and assimilation effects), extra Proficiency ensures those anomalies trigger more consistently and hit harder.

  3. ATK %: General offensive power—increases Yuzuha’s ATK, which scales her buffs and contributes to any damage she deals. ATK% sub-stats will also increase the team ATK buff portion of her kit since it likely takes a percentage of her ATK to add to allies. This is likely the third-most important sub-stat once energy and anomaly needs are met.

  4. Crit Rate: While crit is not a primary focus for support builds, Yuzuha does have an incentive to build some Crit Rate—her EX Special/Ultimate can force a Chain Attack on crit (when hitting a non-dazed enemy). By investing in a bit of Crit Rate (e.g., 20-30%), you improve the odds of this effect, effectively giving free extra attacks and even more energy (her passive returns 4 energy when allies join via her Chain Attack trigger). A higher crit rate also slightly benefits any damage she does, though that’s secondary. Crit Rate is more useful than Crit DMG in her case; if you include some crit, try to maintain a decent Crit Rate so those forced Chains happen reliably.

  5. HP%/DEF%: These defensive sub-stats can be considered quality-of-life for high-end content. In modes like Shiyu Defense, having some bulk ensures Yuzuha doesn’t get one-shot by powerful hits. HP% is generally more useful to survive burst damage. Consider keeping a few HP/DEF sub-rolls if your other stats are at comfortable levels, as a dead Yuzuha can’t support the team.

Crit DMG is low priority unless you have an unusually high Crit Rate on Yuzuha. In anomaly-focused builds, much of the damage ignores typical crit scaling, so you can deprioritize Crit DMG. Focus on the above stats, which directly enhance her support utility.

Endgame Stat Targets for Yuzuha:

For Yuzuha to function optimally as an anomaly support in endgame activities, we recommend aiming for the following stat thresholds by final build:

Energy Regeneration: ≥150% (1.5/sec) is a comfortable minimum, with 180–200% ideal for tough content. High energy regen allows Yuzuha to cycle her Ultimate extremely fast, which is vital since her Ultimate (EX Special) restores 32 energy to teammates and likely provides anomaly buffs on use. At 180% Energy Regen, Yuzuha can often Ult on cooldown every fight rotation, keeping your team’s energy nearly capped and her support buffs (and Aftershock triggers) constantly active. In practical terms, aim to stack enough Energy% from her W-Engine (many S-rank weapons give 20–30% base), disc main stats, and possibly a 2-pc Energy set (e.g., Swing Jazz 2pc for +20%) to reach this level.

Anomaly Mastery: 120–150+ points (before buffs) is a solid endgame baseline, with higher being better for buffing Disorder damage. Yuzuha starts at 120 base Anomaly Mastery at level 80, which already meets the threshold for certain bonuses (e.g., Proto Punk’s 115 requirement). Try to push her Anomaly Mastery closer to 200 after gear and buffs. In practice, this means using an Anomaly Mastery main stat on one disc (which can add 30–40 points at max level) and leveraging her signature W-Engine’s +35 mastery buff (or +55 at max refine). High Anomaly Mastery directly scales up the “anomaly damage” Yuzuha and her team deal—this includes the extra damage from elemental disorder effects and her own Aftershock blasts. For modes like Deadly Assault where burst damage matters, you want as much Mastery as possible to amplify those anomaly procs.

ATK Percentage: +80–100% ATK from gear (roughly doubling her base ATK) is a good goal. This means, for example, reaching 1500+ ATK from a base of 758. Stacking ATK% on her discs (and a high-ATK W-Engine) not only improves any damage Yuzuha deals but, more importantly, strengthens her ATK-based team buffs. Yuzuha’s kit provides team ATK buffs, so a higher ATK stat on Yuzuha directly translates into a larger attack bonus for the team. Hitting +100% ATK ensures that when Yuzuha provides an ATK boost or uses support skills, your damage dealers get a significant benefit.

Anomaly Proficiency: If possible, aim for +50-100 Anomaly Proficiency from gear. There’s no hard “breakpoint” to hit, but having some extra Proficiency (via sub-stats or set bonuses) helps Yuzuha apply anomalies faster and boost disorder effects. For example, one Aftershock might nearly stun certain mobs if your Proficiency is high. Yuzuha’s signature already grants +60 teamwide Anomaly Proficiency on Aftershock, so combined with a 4-pc Astral Voice proc (+45) and some sub-stats, Yuzuha can temporarily exceed +100 proficiency during burst rotations—this greatly accelerates anomaly triggers and ensures even high-level enemies can be afflicted with Disorder reliably. While Proficiency isn’t usually a “Stack as high as possible,” stat. Having enough to consistently apply your team’s anomalies in endgame (where enemies have high resistance) is important.

Skill Leveling Priority for Yuzuha:

Yuzuha’s skills should be leveled in an order that maximizes her support utility and anomaly application. The general priority is:

  1. Ultimate—Top priority. Yuzuha’s Ultimate is the core of her support kit, providing the team-wide Energy restore (32 energy to allies) and likely her biggest anomaly burst effect. Leveling this first will typically increase its damage and possibly the amount of energy or buff it provides. Every improvement here boosts team rotation uptime and anomaly damage. In endgame, you want her Ult available as often and as strong as possible, so max this skill out early.

  2. EX Special Attack—Second priority. Yuzuha’s EX Special Attack is central to her anomaly support role. It has the “Assimilated” effect, allowing her to apply any Attribute Anomaly or assist allies without stealing damage. In other words, her Special sets up anomalies for the team and provides buffs (e.g. possibly an ATK or Disorder damage buff). Leveling her Special will increase the potency of these buffs and anomaly effects, lowering cooldown or increasing damage/buildup. Since her core mechanics revolve around Basic and Special, her Special skill should be leveled right after the ultimate to strengthen that core support loop.

  3. Core Passive—Third priority. Yuzuha’s core passive likely enhances her anomaly support in a unique way—for example, she has a passive that when her EX/Ultimate crits, it force-triggers a Chain Attack (with some damage reduction), and another that yields energy when allies enter via Chain. Her passive also seems to boost Disorder (anomaly) damage and team empowerment. Leveling the passive can improve these effects (such as higher bonus damage or more energy refund). A fully leveled core passive ensures Yuzuha maximizes those extra assists and bonus damage instances that glue her kit together. It’s slightly behind the main active skills in priority but still very important for consistent anomaly control and bonus energy.

  4. Chain/Assist Attack—Fourth. Yuzuha’s Chain Attack/Quick Assist is a significant part of her gameplay—it allows her to enter and apply anomaly buildup without consuming ally damage quotas. Leveling the Chain Attack will increase its damage and possibly the anomaly buildup it applies. In high-end play, her Assist Attack can be a free source of damage and anomaly triggers (especially when procced by her passive). Upgrading it after the above will help shave enemy health and fill anomaly gauges faster, contributing to overall team DPS and control. It’s not as impactful as her Special or Ult, but still worth investing in once primary skills are capped.

  5. Basic Attack—Last priority. Yuzuha’s basic attacks themselves do not contribute to anomaly calculations (her first two basic hits deliberately don’t generate anomaly buildup to avoid stealing the DPS’s role). The main importance of her Basic string is the charged Candy Shot: by holding her Basic, she consumes a Charge Point to fire Basic Attack: Candy Shot, which counts as an Aftershock and triggers anomaly damage. Leveling her basic attack talent will increase her normal attack damage and Candy Shot damage. This is useful for personal DPS, but since Yuzuha is not a primary damage dealer, Basic should be the last to max. (Candy Shot’s anomaly effect is powerful, but it is already enhanced by gear more than by skill level.) Once you’ve maximized all her other abilities, you can invest remaining resources into Basic to marginally improve her Aftershock damage and any parry/counter mechanics in her kit.

Team Compositions Featuring Yuzuha:

Yuzuha excels as an anomaly enabler and team support, so she fits best in teams that capitalize on anomaly damage (disorder effects) or need her energy and buff support. Below we outline a premium synergy team, a free-to-play-friendly team, and some alternate compositions that trigger Yuzuha’s faction/anomaly synergies. Each example assumes Yuzuha is built as described above.

Premium Anomaly Team:

In this composition, Yuzuha partners with top-tier anomaly DPS units to maximize team damage in endgame modes:

Jane Doe triggers attribute anomalies on enemies (Jane is a physical anomaly specialist whose skills deal heavy disorder damage with built-in crit scaling). Benefits hugely from Yuzuha’s anomaly mastery/proficiency buffs, and her own anomaly damage is boosted by Yuzuha’s high anomaly mastery stat. Shares physical attributes with Yuzuha, activating Yuzuha’s faction passive for bonus stats. Vivian—off-field anomaly enabler, often called the “Queen of Anomaly.” Applies Ether-element anomalies while off-field and has an Ultimate that greatly amplifies Disorder damage. Vivian synergizes with Jane by enabling additional anomaly reactions and dealing damage even when not active. Yuzuha’s presence lets you replace Astra support with her—Yuzuha’s ult giving Vivian & Jane energy means more frequent ultimates (Vivian’s own ult is a strong burst), and her buffs make Vivian’s anomaly DOTs tick harder. (Vivian’s Additional Ability is activated by Nicole in F2P teams, but in this premium comp, she doesn’t need it because raw synergy and Yuzuha’s buffs compensate.) Yuzuha: Anomaly buffer & battery. Provides +35 Anomaly Mastery to herself and +60 Anomaly Proficiency teamwide via her W-Engine, significantly increasing Jane/Vivian’s disorder damage. Her Ultimate supplies 32 energy to both Jane and Vivian, allowing near back-to-back casts of their powerful EX Specials. Yuzuha also buffs team ATK and Disorder damage via her skills (e.g., Candy Fright’s ATK-scaling buff) and ensures constant anomaly triggers with Candy Shot aftershocks. In this comp, Yuzuha replaces Astra as the dedicated anomaly support—she outperforms Astra by providing direct energy and higher anomaly stat buffs, making the Jane+Vivian duo far more lethal. All three characters synergize to rapidly trigger and exploit anomalies, making quick work of Shiyu Defense waves and boss shields in Deadly Assault.

Best Premium Team: Miyabi + Yuzuha + Vivian or Yanagi.

F2P-Friendly Anomaly Team: Billy + Nicole + Yuzuha.

Spook Shack Faction Team: Yuzuha + Alice + Flex.

Dual Anomaly Enablers: Yuzuha + Grace + Rina (or Piper).
