A main DPS is in my opinion less valuable to pull than a sub-DPS or support so they are generally lower. All character are ranked inside each tier (left to right)

Furina Furina is a very strong support/sub-DPS. She has one of the best supporting capabilities out of all of the characters, and deals a lot of personal damage. She is in my opinion the strongest character curently in the game.

Kazuha Kazuha is a amazing support, when using the viridescent venerer artifact set, his swirls becaume incredibly powerfull. The only downside with Kazuha is that you can only support swirlable elements.

Nahida Nahida is a support/sub-DPS. The strongest part of her kit is het ability to aply a lot of dendro while she is not on the field. On top of that she can give the entire team a lot of elemental mastery trough her elemental burst, her damage is also really good.

Yelan Yelan is a insane sub-DPS character. Her primairy job in most teams is to aply hydro to the anemy while doing as much damage as posible in the process. She also buffs the active party member when her burst is active. She is really good at applying hydro, wich is on of the best elements for reactions.

Nilou Nilou is a very strong sub-DPS. She only works in one team, but she makes is so that that one team becomes insane. She changes the bloom reaction into bountiful cores, these cores do a lot of damage. The downside is that she needs a healer because these cores also damage your active character.

Raiden Shogun Raiden is a jack of all trades. She is a good main-DPS, especially at C2. But she is also a really strong sub-DPS in a Hyperbloom team. She is also really good at applying electro.

Neuvillette Neuvillette is a main-DPS unit. even tough dealing damage on field is the only thing he can do, he can do it really good. His synergy with furina is also really good. He is a really versitile main-DPS because he does not have a strict team he needs to be in.

Arlecchino Arlecchino is a insane main-DPS character. She makes really great use of the bond of life feature, allowing her to deal insane damage, the only reason he is under Neuvillette is because she needs a decent amout of investing, but building her is definitaly the right way to use your resin. Her damage is really good, especially is a vaporise or overload team.
