Eula Nuke Showcase Guide

Disclaimer

Let me preface this by saying this is NOT a guide on how to use Eula in general or in the Spiral Abyss, this is a guide to obtain the highest single instance of damage possible with Eula and your roster.

We will ignore the 1:2 ratio, we will ignore ER. Our only goal is to get the highest number possible for the "Purveyor of Punishment" achievement. There will be crit fishing and a ton of retries. Scaramouche will be sick of being killed over and over.

And don't worry, this guide will be very f2p friendly but it will also cover whale options if you have them.

Step 1: Food

This is a tedious but necessary step. Since Eula is a physical character, she doesn't use typical foods that give attack, HP, crit nor does she use potions that increase elemental damage bonus. There aren't any potions that do that. Her best food is Fischl's signature dish Die Heilige Sinfonie.

It has a simple effect: Increases all party members' Physical DMG by 55% for 300s.

What makes it tedious is that it's a signature dish. You have to cook the Cold Cut Platter dish with fischl and you'll have a measly 10% chance of getting it. The ingredients for the dish are 1 Ham, 1 Bacon, 1 Sausage and 1 Mint. It's a lot of meat. You can go kill some pigs and/or set your daily Expeditions to ones that get you meat.

Step 2: Gearing Eula - Weapons

First up, what weapon should you use?

We don't care about crit rate so we focus on weapons that give Damage Bonus, ATK% and Crit Damage.

5 Star Weapons

Song of Broken Pines
Song of Broken Pines

Eula's signature weapon. It may seem like a no-brainer to use for a showcase but WGS can outdo it in some circumstances. But in 95% of cases, it's her best option. If you got it, use it.

What if you don't have any of those 5 star weapons? Don't worry, there are some great 4 star options.

4 Star Weapons

Akuoumaru
Akuoumaru

If you somehow have this weapon, it's a great option. If you somehow have it at R5, it's her best option. The main problem with this weapon is that it's a weapon banner exclusive, so getting copies of it is rare. I don't even have one.

Step 2: Gearing Eula - Artifacts

Next up, artifacts. Obviously, Pale Flame will be her best set. But if you don't have a full set, any 2pc physical damage bonus, 2pc ATK%, 2pc Noblesse combo with as much ATK% and Crit Damage substats as possible will be a good option.

Artifact Sets

Pale Flame
Pale Flame

Her best set, literally made for her.

The 4pc set bonus will give you a total of 50% physical damage bonus and 18% ATK. These are the highest stats Eula can get from a set bonus.

As for what main stats to use?

ATK% for the sands.

Physical Damage Bonus for the goblet.

Crit Damage for the circlet.

There is no other option. DO NOT use any other combination of stats, it's not worth it. If you have a 4pc Pale Flame set that doesn't use these main stats, do not use it, switch to any of the other 2pc/2pc options. Let me stress the importance of getting these main stats. It matters more than the set bonus.

As for substats, you know the drill. As much ATK% and Crit Damage as humanly possible.

A case for crit rate:

For your sanity, I recommend having some crit rate substats. Don't focus too much on them but having crit rate means less crit fishing which means less restarting over and over. If you have a set that has a crazy amount of crit damage and ATK% but no crit rate, consider changing it a little. There are only so many times you'll want to fight scaramouche before wanting to give up. Chasing a 5% crit is painful.

Step 2: Gearing Eula - Talents

Lastly, Eula talents. Get her burst and skill talent as high as possible. Crown her if you like her that much. Talent levels make huge difference for this kind of showcase.

Step 3: Supports

Eula has a lot of support options, especially for a showcase. I'm trying to tailor this guide to anyone with Eula regardless of how many 5 stars, they have. Let's go through her supports one by one:

Bennett
BennettTrial by Fire

Bennett

Our boy. The one and only.

Bennett will be used in 99% of Eula showcases. He provides a massive attack buff with his burst. Level up his burst talent as high as possible, crown it if you care that much. Level him to 90 and level up his weapon to 90 for the highest base attack possible.

Constellations

C1: The most comfortable constellation and gives a larger attack boost. It will buff Eula's attack no matter what.

C5: This is the main constellation that will boost Eula's damage, it gives 3 talent levels to his burst.

Bennett is very straightforward to use. Use his burst and that's it. Often you give him 4pc Noblesse Obliged and your highest base attack sword to give as much attack as possible to Eula.

Gearing

Artifact Set

Noblesse Oblige
Noblesse Oblige

4pc Noblesse Obliged will be his best option. There isn't really any other choice. The artifact stats don't matter. You can even use 4 star noblesse options. All we care about is the set bonus.

Weapons

Aquila Favonia
Aquila Favonia
Mistsplitter Reforged
Mistsplitter Reforged
Absolution
Absolution

These three weapons all have the highest base attack of 674 at level 90/90. This means his burst will grant the most attack with these weapons. Of course, refinements don't matter.

On C6 Bennett

Now hear me out. C6 Bennett doesn't do anything for Eula, in fact, it's detrimental to Eula turning her normal attacks pyro.

BUT

C6 bennett is actually good for Eula showcases. All the buffs she receives, her artifact stats boost almost all her damage including her normal attacks. What does this mean? Eula can kill scaramouche with her normal attack combo BEFORE her burst explodes, ruining the showcase.

But what if, you turned her attacks pyro, lowering her normal attack damage? Suddenly, scaramouche doesn't die while you are building stacks and you can even vs a level 80 scara for more damage.

Consider C6 Bennett ONLY if you care this much about a Eula showcase, otherwise don't activate it for Eula.

But also, it doesn't matter. In normal everyday teams and abyss, Bennett isn't even Eula's best option. Activating C6 doesn't affect her much at all.

Lisa
LisaWitch of Purple Rose

Lisa

Lisa will be one of, if not, the best f2p option for a Eula showcase for 3 reasons:

  1. She is electro, one half of the Superconduct reaction. Electro + Cryo = Superconduct which lowers the foe's physical resistance by 40% for 12 seconds.
  2. She is a catalyst character. This lets her hold the 3 star weapon Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. An amazing support weapon which after you switch from Lisa to Eula, Eula will be granted a massive 48% ATK buff for 10 seconds.
  3. Lastly, her ascension 2 passive, Static Electricity Field. After you level her and ascend her to level 60/70, she'll unlock this passive. It makes opponents hit by her burst have their DEF decreased by 15% for 10s. A defense decrease like this is a very rare and valuable buff.

You don't have to worry about Lisa's talents or weapon levels or artifacts. She only needs to be level 60/70 and hold an R5 Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. Lisa is free and everyone likely has Thrilling Tales.

Optional: she can hold a 4pc noblesse set instead of Bennett if you want.

Mika
MikaCoordinates of Clear Frost

Mika

The supposed dedicated physical support. He's good but not as good as you think but for a showcase, he works great.

Pros:

  • Increases Eula's attack speed allowing for more comfortable combos to get as many stacks as possible.
  • Can allow Eula to get extra stacks for her burst if you have Song of Broken Pines.
  • Boosts physical damage bonus by a bit.
  • At C6, he can grant a 60% crit damage buff to allies.

Cons:

  • Before C6, his buffs are not as good as someone like Lisa.
  • Doesn't actually grant you extra stacks for Eula's burst without her signature weapon.

Bottom line, I would only recommend using him if he is C6 or you don't have any other options. That being said, Eula, Lisa, Mika and Bennett is a really f2p friendly showcase team.

His weapons and artifacts don't really matter for the showcase itself but he can also hold noblesse if you need to.

Furina
FurinaEndless Solo of Solitude

Furina

With the release of Furina, Eula players got another great buffer. Even at c0, she can grant up to a 75% damage bonus (if you crown Furina's burst) buff to Eula, this can rival or outperform the buffs that Lisa and Mika can give. Furina also works very well with Mika.

How to use:

With Mika:

  • Pretty much the same as you would normally use her except you want to start with the entire party being on 50% or lower HP. You start the rotation with Furina's skill then Furina's burst. You then switch to bennett and use his burst, then quickly switch to Mika and use his burst then skill. Mika will heal your party granting Furina lots of fanfare stacks and she will get the remainder stacks with her summons.

Without Mike:

  • It's a lot more tricky without Mika. You want everyone to be at very low HP, 25% or less. You need to have the NRE (Menu 30) gadget equipped. After you use Furina's skill the burst, you need to quickly use the gadget to eat as much food as possible. Then when you go through your other supports, use the gadget on them to. All this healing will grant the need fanfare stacks.

Note, if you can't get max fanfare stacks, it's not worth using her over the other options.

Constellations:

C1 - If you have this constellation, her max buff increases from 75% to 100% damage bonus. Great constellation. It also makes stacking her fanfare easier.

C3 - If you have this constellation, it'll increase her burst talent level by 3. At talent level 13, it increases her buff to 124% damage bonus. Another great constellation.

The rest of her constellations don't help her buffing potential.

Tenacity of the Millelith
Tenacity of the Millelith

Furina is one of the few buffers that can use this artifact set. The 4pc effect can grant the entire party a 20% ATK buff that is independent of the Noblesse 20% ATK buff. You will grant Eula a total of 40% ATK with these two sets in your party. Equip this set for the showcase.

Weapons

Freedom-Sworn
Freedom-Sworn

Like Bennett, Furina is a sword user and can equip Freedom-Sword. But unlike Bennett, she can stack its passive very easily and from off-field granting Eula 20 -40% more ATK depending on refinements. If you got it, use it. If you don't, don't worry about Furina's weapon at all.

Xinyan
XinyanBlazing Riff

Xinyan

Xinyan may sound like a weird pick but consider her if you have BOTH Eula's signature weapon and Wolf's Gravestone. Do not use Xinyan, I repeat, DO NOT use Xinyan over the other supports if you don't have both these weapons and C4. At constellation 4, Xinyan's skill lowers enemy physical damage resistance by 15%. These 2 factors are what make her a candidate for a Eula showcase. The tricky part is pulling it off.

An interesting feature about Eula's burst is that it never snapshots, it's damage will change when buffs are added or removed. AFTER you have done Eula's combo, you have to quickly switch to Xinyan and use her skill. This must be instant, Xinyan will then proc the Wolf's Gravestone passive and her C4 passive buffing Eula's damage right as her burst is exploding.

Weapon

Wolf's Gravestone
Wolf's Gravestone

Only use Xinyan if you have BOTH Wolf's Gravestone and Eula's signature. What this does is grant the massive attack buff to Eula without Eula having to equip it herself. Don't bother using Xinyan at all if you don't have her c4 and both these weapons.

Artifacts

Tenacity of the Millelith
Tenacity of the Millelith

Since Xinyan hits the enemy with here skill right before Eula's burst explodes, she will grant the party a 20% ATK buff. Use this set on her.

Zhongli
ZhongliVago Mundo

Zhongli

He's not the best option but he can work. His universal 20% resistance shred from his shield and as a potential Tenacity of the Milileth holder make him a decent buffer. But not as good as the other options. If you have The Unforged (like me) on Eula, he can make that weapon rival Wolf's Gravestone in terms of attack buffs.

Strategy:

Use his tap E to put his pillar on the ground near scaramouche's foot to get the tenacity buff.

Put the pillar here for the tenacity buff.
Nahida
NahidaPhysic of Purity

Nahida

Why Nahida? Because of her constellation 2. If you don't have it, don't bother using Nahida at all.

Constellation 2:

Opponents that are marked by Seeds of Skandha applied by Nahida herself will be affected by the following effects: Burning, Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon Reaction DMG can score CRIT Hits. CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are fixed at 20% and 100% respectively. Within 8s of being affected by Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, DEF is decreased by 30%.

The important part is that last line: Within 8s of being affected by Quicken, Aggravate, Spread, DEF is decreased by 30%. When you pair Nahida with Lisa, they will trigger the quicken reaction lowering the enemy's defense by a massive 30%. This is a massive buff.

Like lisa, Nahida can also hold thrilling tales but there is no point in use 2.

Lastly, Nahida is also a great user of the Tenacity of the Milileth set. Use that set in her for this showcase. Her talents do not matter. Don't even bother bursting, it just wastes time.

Raiden Shogun
Raiden ShogunPlane of Euthymia

Raiden Shogun

The electro archon is a decent option to support Eula, her skill applies electro for Superconduct and grants a burst damage bonus. Though not as good as Lisa. Use Raiden if you don't want to build Lisa.

She can also hold Tenacity of the Milileth. Use this set on her for the showcase.

Step 4: Example Teams and Rotations

Now that we have all her supports down, it's time to make a team and kill Scaramouche. If you don't know why we are picking the weekly boss Scaramouche, it's because in his stunned state, he has a base resistance to all damage of -140%, the lowest of any enemy. This will amplify our damage the most.

You might kill Scara if you get some lucky crits too early which is a reset.

In his second phase, Eula, Bennett, Mika and Zhongli are very good at killing the turrets so you can stun him. If you are using Furina, use this time to take some damage to lower your health for Furina's buff.

Some terminology in rotations:

  • E = Skill
  • hE = hold Skill
  • Q = Burst
  • N1 = Normal Attack
  • N4 = 4 Normal Attacks

4 Star Only Teams

Eula
Mika
Lisa
Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers
Bennett
Noblesse Oblige

Eula, Lisa, Mika Bennett

The first of the 4 star only teams. I only recommend this team if you have lower ping, less than 50ms and C6 Mika. Otherwise, use one of the other options.

Rotation

Eula E, Mika Q, Bennett Q, Mika E, Lisa Q, Eula Q N4 hE wait 0.1-0.2 seconds N4

It may look like gibberish but I'll explain the rotation this one time:

Eula's Skill, switch to Mika, Mika's burst, switch to Bennett, Bennett's burst, switch to Mika, Mika's skill, switch to Lisa, Lisa's burst, switch to Eula, Eula's burst, 4 normal attacks, hold skill, wait a split second 4 normal attacks then the burst will explode.

It takes way longer to type it this way so I'll use the abbreviations from now on.

Total external buffs and debuffs:

  • Bennett ATK buff
  • 20% ATK from Noblesse
  • 48% ATK from Thrilling Tales
  • 20% Physical Damage Donus
  • 60% Crit Damage bonus from Mika C6
  • 40% Physical Resistance Shred from Superconduct
  • 15% DEF shred from Lisa

Eula, Lisa, Bennett, Xinyan

You have to be very quick and precise with this team.

Rotation

Bennett Q, Lisa Q, Eula E, Q, N4, wait 0.1-0.2 seconds, N4, Xinyan E.

This one is very hard to do but it's crazy if you pull it off. As Eula's burst is about to explode, quickly switch to Xinyan and use her skill. Her C4 buffs Eula's burst with Tenacity and Wolf's Gravestone (if you have it) right before it explodes.

Total external buffs and debuffs:

  • Bennett ATK buff
  • 25% ATK from Pyro Resonance
  • 20% ATK from Noblesse

I recommend this team if you don't have Wolf's Gravestone but you do have Zhongli.

Rotation

Nahida C2 is required for this team.

Rotation

This team has a lot of defense shred. Note that the defense shred doesn't stack additively. It's not 45% DEF shred. It's multiplicative so 1 - (1-0.15)(1-0.3) = 40.5% DEF shred.

Nahida C2 and Furina C3 are required for this team. Eula also needs to be holding the Wolf's Gravestone instead of her signature weapon here. The ultimate whale team. Make sure that your supports have no artifacts leveled up. There is a danger of killing scaramouche with this team before Eula's Burst explodes but if you're lucky, it won't. It's also the first team without Bennett. You'll need the NRE gadget again to eat.

Rotation

Furina E, Q, eat food, Nahida E, eat food, Lisa Q, eat food, Eula E, Q, N4, wait 0.1-0.2 seconds, N4

Defense shred, damage bonus, it's the whole package. Once again, make sure everyone is on low health before you start. With C2 Furina, you won't need everyone to eat food to get max stacks of fanfare.

Total external buffs and debuffs:

  • 20% ATK from Noblesse
  • 20% ATK from Tenacity of the Milileth
  • 20-40% ATK from Freedom Sworn
