Raiden-Hyper vs Raiden Hyperbloom

The right playstyle for you depends on your account and your preferences. You can use Raiden as an onfield main dps, an onfield driver, who doesn't always need to deal huge damage, or as an off-field subdps, who's role could be elemental application or damage. Each archetype has its own advantages and some people like to play Raiden as an onfielder and some prefer her as an off-fielder. This can be because of your other characters on your account, e.g. you already have a lot onfield character, so you use Raiden as an off-fielder.

Generally, the onfield playstyle requires more ressources to deal decent damage. Especially in teams like Raiden-Hyper with Sara, Kazuha and Bennett or Overloaded with Chevreuse, Bennett and Kujou Sara, you want a very well invested Raiden to carry the damage. You want to have a dps artifact set, often it is the Emblem of severed fate artifact set, but sometimes it differs, and a proper dps polearm.

If you use her off-field, she doesnt need to be that well invested since you only really use her for her elemental skill. You can simply build stats like Energy Recharge, Attack, EM and Crit to improve her but it wont make much of a difference, no need to min-max every artifact. Oftentimes you just stack tons of Elemental Mastery on her so she can do a lot of Hyperbloom damage. This way you don't really need a very good 5 star Polearm because for Hyperbloom you should use the 4 star weapon "dragons bane" and Refinements are not needed to deal massive damage.

You can use her in almost every Archetype of off field and she will work. there aint a specific team.
