Stand at the maximum distance possible when playing against melee champions so they cannot get on to you. Use your range advantage against these champions to keep them low.
Use your Ultimate R as a defensive tool rather than a tool to engage with if it’s not necessary. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be the playmaker all the time.
You can build a replacement tower in the middle lane after taking the tower and then look to roam.

Annie: Annie's raw power in all stages of the game it's too much for you to endure. Try to push the wave and roam for kills.
Cassiopeia: She will outscale you so you need to punish her early game, be careful on the ground ability since you won't be able to dash with your soldier.
Veigar: Veigar's cage can be a pain to play against and considering he scales very well in the late game, can be a tricky lane. Try to wait for the cage to be wasted and all in with someone close to you.

Yasuo: Keep in mind the minions around you, if Yasuo dashes away from your Soldiers that is a problem. Look to play around that and just bully him.
Lissandra: Lissandra requires to be on your face to do damage, so outrange her with your abilities and push her away with your ultimate if she gets too close.
Corki: This is a farming matchup as this point since both of you just want to scale, but you can punish Corki more easily than he can.

Early Game: In the early game as Azir, focus on farming and maintaining a safe distance from your opponent. Utilize your soldiers to poke and harass your lane opponent while staying aware of gank threats.
Mid Game: Transitioning into the mid game, prioritize securing objectives like the mid-tier turret and roam to other lanes to assist your team. Azir's strong zone control with his soldiers can dominate team fights and skirmishes.
Late Game: In the late game, Azir becomes a powerhouse with his scaling. Position carefully in team fights, maximizing your damage output while maintaining a safe distance. Your Emperor's Divide can be a game-changer, so save it for key moments to disrupt and control enemy movements.
