If Nautilus lands his Q, you are pretty much locked forever. So Glacial really helps with the added CC.

Win Conditions

  • Walk up to the enemy and look to engage. If they use their dash, use your Q to hook them. If they don’t use a dash, keep walking until you’re in auto attack range and then root them with an auto.
  • While Nautilus is quite slow, you do have really good roaming potential as you have a lot of CC. Look to roam from base before heading back to the bottom lane.
  • Set up an ambush inside a bush and wait for the enemy to walk past before engaging. One catch can turn the game on its head and allow you to take an objective.

Weak Against

  • Taric: Taric doesn't mind getting hooked by you and he will keep spamming his abilities on your face which is not a good thing.
  • Renata Glasc: Renata can be annoying from the fact that her ultimate will hit you easily if you are on her face and she W revives teammates.
  • Rell: Rell is waiting for you to engage on her so she can lock you down as a response.

Strong Against

  • Yuumi: The second Yuumi disattaches, that's your cue to go in and CC lock her.
  • Karma: She can be very annoying with the constant poke, but if you land a hook on her she should be dead. Make sure she doesn't have the R+W so she doesn't heal.
  • Ashe: Ashe doesn't really have any mobility and once hooked on she has no way to escape, be ready for all ins.

Game Strategy

  • Early Game: No matter the matchup, your job is to hook. Hook left and right, be careful where that puts yourself and see if you ADC is ready to follow. Level 6 is the moment we can CC lock enemies for days so ensure you hit that spike is our win-con.
  • Mid Game: Swap with your midlaner after the first turret bot is taken and babysit your ADC if you need to, otherwise just set up some vision. Diving is an easy task for you since you have ways to both tank the turret and lock the target down.
  • Late Game: Nothing changes here either, the stakes just get higher, you NEED to land that hook or ensure your ADC is safe. Warding is still your primary objective, but be careful on going too deep to ward since you can get picked and killed.
