ARAM: Arcane-Themed Update
ARAM is receiving an Arcane-themed update. Players will now fight on the iconic Bridge of Progress from Arcane, representing Piltover and Zaun. Eduardo Cortejoso, Modes Product Lead, shares that this was an obvious choice for the team: “We already have a game mode that takes place on a bridge, so it made perfect sense to bring this iconic location from Arcane into the game.”
The update also introduces new gameplay elements, such as buffs triggered when inhibitors are destroyed, Piltover and Zaun-themed relics, and special nemesis quests for champions from Arcane. Cortejoso emphasizes that while these additions provide extra layers of depth to the game, they don’t drastically change the core of ARAM, which remains intact.
Players will be able to enjoy the Arcane content in ARAM until January 2025, after which the map will revert to the original Howling Abyss.
