Top 5 Champions for Each Role

1. Top Lane
- A few champions are changing in the Top Lane, Nasus, Fiora, and Rek'Sai. All of these matter little to nothing since they weren't Top Tier anyway and they get slightly nerfed or buffed doesn't change the fact that Urgot is still the best Top Laner.
- We mentioned before that Rek'Sai was nerfed, and that was the main reason why Garen took the spot. Rek'Sai was broken Top Lane, so now with the nerfs coming into place, it will leave room for Garen to once again shine on Top.

2. Jungle
- Briar is just too strong of a champion currently, and with changes going around in the Jungle right now (Volibear getting nerfed mainly), Briar still continues to be on top of the list. Her amazing skirmish power combined with the ability to survive teamfights it's extremely powerful.
- Brand is just a consistent pick and he has been so this entire new Season. He has a linear approach to the game and his clear speed is insane. Champs like Kayn, Rengar, Kha, etc are being played much less now, which leaves room for Brand to really shine.
3. Mid Lane
- Only Galio and Lux are being changed for the midlane, so there's really nothing different from the last Tier List. Ahri will continue being on top due to her amazing snowball power and the fact that she can always be useful with the Charm.
- Aurelion Sol will take the top spot with Ahri. No matter how behind you are with ASol, if you have gotten your items, you will simply 1v9 teamfights. And in most cases, it's really easy for you to take it slow in the laning phase and just scale up.

4. ADC
- Statikk Shiv is being nerfed in this patch, which makes Kog'Maw still stay on Top since he is not a Statikk Shiv user, and considering how popular Statikk was last patch, this will put Kog in a better spot since a lot of ADC's are indirectly nerfed.
- Jinx was one of the Statikk Shiv abusers last patch, but the thing with Jinx is that she is quite happy with just going Kraken Slayer and still doing tons of Damage regardless.
5. Support
- A lot of Support changes are happening, mainly to Imperial Mandate and Zaz'Zaks, so Zyra and Janna are dropping down. Blitzcrank is taking the top of the list because of his ability to just hook those enchanters or make the decisive grab to change the game.
- Rakan is and will always be a great pick in soloQ. He will always be useful due to is peel, engage, and disengage power. Enchanters being nerfed, just leaves more room for Rakan to properly shine. Bloodsong is also getting nerfed on top of that.
