Win Conditions
- Xin Zhao has one of the strongest level 2’s in game. In the early game you're going to want to look for an early gank with red buff after hitting level 2.
- Your 1v1 and 2v2 in the early game is amazing, try to safely invade and counter-jungle whenever possible. If you see the enemy jungler botside, take their entire topside jungle.
- In the mid/late game, avoid teamfighting without your R because it is your best disrupt/disengage tool if things go poorly.
Weak Against
- Rammus: Rammus's high armor and his ability to reflect damage with his W make it difficult for Xin Zhao's basic attacks, which are his primary source of damage, to have a significant impact.
- Amumu: Amumu's crowd control abilities, especially his Q and R, can disrupt Xin Zhao's engages and make it challenging for him to stick to targets.
- Lillia: Lillia's poke, mobility, and crowd control abilities with her Q and E can harass Xin Zhao from a distance and make it challenging for him to engage.
Strong Against
- Kindred: Xin Zhao's high early-game damage and dueling potential allow him to invade and pressure Kindred in the jungle.
- Hecarim: Xin Zhao's early dueling power allows him to contest Hecarim in the jungle and potentially invade him.
- Rengar: Xin Zhao's dueling strength in the early levels allows him to contest Rengar and prevent him from snowballing.
Game Strategy
- Early Game: In the early game, Xin Zhao excels at aggressive ganking and skirmishing. Focus on efficient jungle clearing, then look for opportunities to gank overextended lanes using your Q and E for powerful engages. Prioritize Scuttle Crabs and maintain deep vision in the enemy jungle to track the enemy jungler.
- Mid Game: During the mid game, Xin Zhao transitions into a strong duelist and tower diver. Continue ganking lanes and securing objectives, utilizing your R for disengage or to finish off low-health enemies.
- Late Game: In the late game, Xin Zhao becomes a durable frontline initiator. Engage team fights with your Audacious Charge and use your Crescent Guard to soak up damage while disrupting enemy formations. Prioritize catching high-priority targets with your crowd control, focusing on protecting your carries and peeling for your team.
