Controlling mid on Mirage is one of the most important parts of gaining map control, and the Window Smoke is essential for this. In this post, I’ll walk you through several easy and consistent ways to throw the Mirage Window Smoke directly from spawn, perfect for both solo queue and team play.All lineups are tested in CS2 and used in real matches.

The Window Smoke blocks vision from CT AWPers and mid players peeking from window. Without it, mid is almost impossible to take safely. It also supports:

Top Mid pushes

Connector splits

Ladder control

A or B splits through short

The standard Window smoke from the trash can is relatively slow—by the time the player at T-Ramp reaches Top Mid, the smoke often hasn't popped yet, leaving them vulnerable to an AWPer holding from Window.
