Another of my theory-crafted decks with Memory Light, this time making use of two unassuming pink puffballs with devastating effects with proper utilization: Blissey and Lickylicky.
So the plan, though it might be a bit clunky, is to get Pichu on the field first. Use its attack to feed Energy to Ho-Oh—if you're able to draw it turn 1 with Poké Ball and/or Prof's Research; if you're not able, for this I added Electrical Cord so that you could feed Pichu instead and let the Cord push the Energy it's stored onto Chansey and Lickitung (because let's be real, Pichu's not lasting more than two turns). And of course, your selection of Trainers to fit your particular needs—Team Rocket Grunt to slow your opponent's Energy curve, and Ilima to basically refresh any one of your Colorless Pokémon. From that point onwatd, the idea's pretty basic:
- ...playing into Blissey makes you a defensive wall like a chance-based Oricorio. With the Memory Light attached, use 'Scrunch' to absorb potentially massive hits (especially those that burn Energy to be used or deal recoil) while building Energy toward 'Happy Punch', dealing big damage and healing you for Lillie amounts with good coin-flip luck.
- ...otherwise, playing into Lickylicky makes the deck become a sniper on par with Decidueye EX decks. Use the new Lickitung from Secluded Springs to deal damage to the bench with , Cyrus out your target of choice, and afterwards use 'Licking Fury' (paired with Will, at your discretion) to deal 140+ damage, enough to KO most EXes.
