Beedrill ex is an effective teammate for Meowscarada as it can deal sizeable damage to non-ex Pokemon. Even a 1-1-1 line becomes consistent for this deck because of Sprigatito's Cry for Help Attack, as well as one copy of Pokemon Communication.
This deck makes use of Genetic Apex Weedle, instead of Shining Revelry Weedle because it can deal 20 damage with Sting.
