In my opinion, the best spread for Meowscarada-Tsareena, especially for ranked. You don't want Steenee and/or a second Tsareena to be crowding your pool of Grass Pokemon. Keeping a tight 2-1-2 and 1-0-1 spread is much better for the draws. It means that a single Sprigatito lead only has 6 Pokemon to draw, instead of 7 or 8. Throwing in the Poke Balls into the math makes that a total of FOUR. Only four Pokemon to draw, and they will all be draws you'll be happy to see.

A single Mallow and Leaf Cape are seriously clutch and should not be passed up on. Erika is also preferred over Lillie since it makes the most out of Grass' universal access to >40 healing. It's not a downgrade. Other Stage 2 decks are limited to Lillie. As a Grass deck, you should always make the most out of not being locked out of Erika. This means your Sprigatito can spend more turns Crying for Help in the front, without needing to draw into any X Speeds or waste energy to retreat. And, if you don't need it in early, it's damn sure to be a hefty HP lift in late.

To finish the game, slap on a Leaf Cape to get out of their range, or chase their ex down with Cyrus, and take home the W.
