Why are the comms important? You NEED Arceus on the board. Iono and Comms provide great consistency for this reason, amongst others. Leaf is to correct Arceus starting, or even to retreat Zubat out of the starting. Gio is the one changeable card. I'm using Gio (as opposed to Guzma), to 1 hit KO Dragon types Gibbles (that grass weakness to carnivine), and hitting Darkrai for 140 with Arceus. Guzma was more useful against Darktina and Skarms, but those are less common, so we run the Gio now and have seen better results.
