The Idea of this Deck is to Tempo out Golem or Onix to overwhelm the enemy with an early attack.

Onix threatens the basic and stage 1 pokemon. Thats why we play Giovanni instead of Red. Due to the pressure of Onix the opponent has to clear it with a stronger Pokemon. This is where golems Shines. We swap him in and make the first hit so the dmg block is activated. If the opponent is to high tempo we skip building Onix and directly build up to activate Golem.

Iono helps us finding the essentials trainer cards to succeed.

Golem is our lategame beeing able to 2 hit any pokemon and takes 2 hits at least himself. Healing him up makes him hard to kill.

In case of Poison or burn we take 1 Center Lady ionstead of 2 Lillies.
