This Water-type deck focuses on utilizing Greninja's "Water Shuriken" ability to consistently deal 20 damage to any of your opponent's Pokémon each turn, setting up knockouts with its "Mist Slash" attack. The primary strategy is to evolve Froakie into Greninja quickly using Rare Candy, allowing for early game pressure. Tentacruel's "Poison Tentacles" can poison the opponent's active Pokémon, adding passive damage each turn. Use Cyrus to bring damaged Pokémon into the active spot for easy knockouts, while Giovanni boosts damage output. In early turns, prioritize setting up Greninja and using its ability strategically to control the board.
I've used this deck a lot for "only use 1, 2, and 3 diamond cards" challenges in single player battles. Solid deck but it's powercrept these days probably. Aim to get Tentacruel on the board and poison as soon as possible. Snipe with Greninja from the bench and use Cyrus. Pretty straightforward deck. Wash Rotom is a good opener with 80 hp and 30 attack for 1 energy.
