Why is everyone playing with Circe's Hexstone? It has shown up in the ranked builds of Solo or Troll and just about every support. To be honest, at first, I was skeptical and refused to build the item, opting for more team utility in Talisman of Purity. However, once I finally broke and actually built the item, I realized why this item was so ubiquitous.
At face value the item gives an extra burst of cc immunity, which is important into teams who have Ares or Fenrir when you're playing Bacchus or other gods without readily available CC immunity. It's also an amazing gap closer, giving characters like Ymir and Ares the dash they've always dreamed of. The item does also offer a little bit of damage output and a raw gain of 60 prots while charging, but this still isn't the true power of the item.
What Circe's Hexstone truly offers bulky characters, especially supports, is their own combat blink (on a lower cooldown mind you). Sure everything else inside the item is nice, but that's just icing on the cake. This item allows Ymir to start charging his ult, activate hexstone, run down enemy gods, and explode, showing up those fools who think a simple dash is enough to stop an ice giant. Bacchus enjoys the same amenities from the item with his burp and I think it's safe to assume Odin can charge his 3 then dash forward with Hexstone for a surprise stun, admittedly I haven't seen or tested the Odin tech though.
This item is the kitchen and we're the mother fricking chef. I genuinely hope some of these interactions stay in the game. I feel that something like Ymir being able to dash in his ult is too much, but bacchus being able to move in his burp is weak enough that it should be kept in the game. Interactions like this make for interesting game play and give otherwise boring characters ways to style on their opponents.
