Challenger TFT Set 14 Guide: 6 Vanguard Aphelios Xayah

This is a moderately-costed AD (Attack Damage) comp, with 6 Vanguard as the core synergy. It’s a very stable composition because it doesn’t rely on 5-cost units at level 8. On the other hand, its power ceiling is average, so this comp is typically aimed at securing a 3rd to 5th place finish.

At level 9, add Aurora, Garen, or Urgot. Place one of them on the board.

• When you have AD items. Since you need two separate AD item sets, this comp is also a top priority when you get offensive item augments.
• In the early game, there are plenty of Vanguard units available.

Aphelios and Xayah both share the fact that they are AD carries and cost 4 gold. Xayah is an ability-based champion, while Aphelios relies on auto attacks (AA). Please note that this difference affects how you build AD items for each of them.

Aphelios must have Guinsoo, and Xayah must have IE. Give tank items to Leona.

Since this is a low-economy comp that is completed at level 8, you should choose combat augments and powerful item augments to ensure victory at level 8.

One of the strongest augments is Little Friends. By replacing Braum with Vi, you can activate up to 4 required breakpoints.
