Cypher Draven
Gameplan:
With Cypher you generate Intel by winnng or Losing. You get more Intel from Losing especially from consecutive losses. At 3-3, 3-7, 4-3, 4-7 or 5-5 you can cashout your Intel. The higher the Intel the better the cashout. The higher the Intel the better the cashout. The Intel also scales with stages.
If you do NOT have an good opener you can streak with and you get dropped Draven or Galio from the Orb you should be considering playing Cypher. Everytime you start to losestreak you should be holding Cypher Units. The cashout no matter how low or how high it is it will help you to cap out any Board even higher. Certain Augments like Patient Virtue, Good for Something or Calculated Loss will help you to spike even more.
You want to have pick prio on caroussel because you can hit Cypher Units from the Caroussel on 2-4 or 3-5. Always scout enemys to understand enemy board strength to understand when you need to position or remove Items from your Units. If you see other players going for losestreak you can put your Ranged Units in Front or corner your Melee. You should always aim to kill as many Enemy Units WITHOUT giving up your Losestreak. You can also slam Items late into the fight to kill 1 or even 2 Units. You want to use Focus Fire which means you want your Units to target only 1 Unit. You scout to know where you want your Units to be to target the weakest enemy Frontline-Unit. This Skill is super important to play Cypher effectiv. SCOUT, SCOUT, SCOUT. You only Level if you can add another Cypher Unit to your Board or you already have 50gold. If your missing LeBlanc or Vi you can roll a little at Level 6 or 5 if you stay above 50/40 gold. You want to be Level 7 at 3-5 with 50gold where you roll for 1 Galio or 1 Draven for more Intel aswell as upgrades to save some HP. You dont roll below 33gold and you dont want to give up your losestreak before cashing out at 3-7 or 4-2 most of the time. When your playing around Draven3 and Galio3 you want to slowroll on 7 til you have atleast 2 Lives (~16hp). Zed2 needs to be itemized aswell since his spell works well with Dravens. Both can hit backline. Most of the time you cashout at 3-7 but when your not pivoting away from Cypher you can cashout on 4-2 if you have enough lives for example with Titanic Titan or Upward Mobility. You can also roll your gold on 4-1 to win/lose and cashout at 4-3.The 290 cashout is easy to hit and can offer an Radiant Item which makes it a very strong cashout. The 250 Intel breakpoint can offer 4 duplicator which is good for reroll but it might be a to weak cashout to winout even when hitting Draven3 and Galio3 in some high resource Lobbys. You can pivot into other Reroll comps with the 250 cashout too. Usually you want to have higher cashouts than 290 to stay in Cypher. Many cashouts are designed to play Vertical Cypher which got buffed 2x already. Cashout 450, 500, 550 and 600 Intel are very strong in Vertical Cypher. You can also pivot with Cypher into many strong Comps. You want to pivot into comps which are Strong in Stage 4 and can cap high with 5 Costs units. You can use Cypher to play into Rapidfire Renekton if you hit an Rapidfire Emblem from the Cypher cashout 250. Your winouts are always Draven3 & Galio 3* or LeBlanc3 with Galio3.
Draven wants AD Caster Items Shojin for Manaregeneration, Infinity Edge for Abilitycrit and Last-Whisper for Armorpen which helps Zed too. Zed wants also IE, Hand of Justice and Bloodthirster which means you need many Swords and Gloves. Cypher alone provides alot AD. Galio takes your Tank Items like Warmogs, Bramble, Dragonclaw, Steadfast or Stoneplate. All Cypher Units get alot of AD & AP the 5 Piece Trait.
Positioning is very important in Vertical Cypher because Zed and Draven are able to target the same Backline Unit very early on in the fight. You want Zed to be at the same side as the enemy Backline carry in A3 or A5 since he jumps 4 Hexes away while Draven hits the most units in line. Sejuani does an AOE stun. She wants to be same side as Enemy carry to be able to stun them (A2 or A6).
Component Prio: BF, Crit, Bow.
Itemizeprio: Draven3/LeBlanc3 = Galio3 > Zed3
Cypher LeBlanc = https://www.tacter.com/tft/guides/cypher-leblanc-45db478d
Encounter:
This Comp has 4 Carrys while beeing very expensive which makes Scuddle Puddle and Crab Rave good Encounters for Vertical Cypher but keep in mind in both Portals Enemys cap higher which can also be bad for you.
Reroll Subscription is great because it allows you to use your freerolls to hit Cypher Units for a higher Intelcashout without Losing Money.
LuckyShop & Two Star Shop can be used to help you rerolling.
Augment:
You want to have 1 Gold/XP/Reroll Augment because this Comp is very expensive. Augments like Calculated Loss, Trading Sector or Upward Mobility give you freerolls which you can use early to hit Cypher Units without losing interest. You only want to take Combat Augments when you have all your carrys itemized. Itemaugments are very Important to maximize Boardstrength.
With Greater Moonlight 2 you can use Vi4 as your Maintank over Galio if your far away from Galio3.
