TFT Set 14: Cyber City not only brings exciting gameplay upgrades but also marks a significant milestone for Double Up as it officially graduates from the Workshop! 🎉
🚀 Gameplay Updates: Teamwork Cannon & Gifting System
🔹 Teamwork Cannon - A Revolutionary ChangeInstead of using the old Rune of Allegiance, we now have the Teamwork Cannon – a powerful tool that allows you to send champions and trade items with your partner more flexibly.
- Send any champion regardless of cost, making strategic coordination easier. 💡
- No time restrictions on sending, but with a cooldown (currently 4 rounds, subject to change after PBE testing).
- Trade items and item components fairly (one-for-one), opening up new creative strategies! 🛠️
🔥 Have you ever wished you could hand your partner an item to optimize their board? With Teamwork Cannon, Double Up truly becomes the ultimate co-op mode!
🔹 Gift Armory - Free Gifts! 🎁No more awkward moments deciding whether to save gold or help your teammate! Now, all items from the Gift Armory are completely free. This change ensures better teamwork without economic drawbacks.
🔹 Removal of the Last 1 HP ShieldThe 1 HP shield before elimination has been removed, making health pools function like standard TFT but still shared between both players. This makes the game more transparent and prevents confusing survival moments.
🎭 Enhanced Experience: More Social, More Flexibility!
🎉 Custom Lobbies
- Now, you can create a lobby with up to 7 friends and enjoy thrilling matches together! No rank restrictions, allowing you to play with anyone regardless of their rank.
🏆 Fairer LP/MMR System:
- If a full lobby of 8 players is formed, LP/MMR will not be affected by the match outcome.
- If there are Master+ players in the lobby, they will not gain LP/MMR if playing with Gold or lower-ranked players.
💡 UI & Gameplay Improvements:
- Better team health bar visibility.
- Upgraded loading screen to showcase your duo synergy.
- Shuffle teams in the lobby for flexible group formations.
🎯 Double Up - The 2v2v2v2 Mode is Officially Graduating!
Double Up has long been a favorite mode for players who enjoy teamwork and strategic coordination. Its official graduation from the Workshop marks Riot Games’ commitment to refining this mode with exciting improvements.
