Why does this comp work?
Stretchy Arms (Power-Up Fruit) on GP gives him more range. The extra range scales with his ability. GP ability also targets lowest total health units, not percent based. This means that GP will most likey shoot the backline carries to win you rounds. This comp also caps at level 7 with uncontested Yasuo.
Gangplank BIS
- ALWAYS force IE and Guinsoo's on GP
- 3rd item can be flex
- Even with range Artifacts, ALWAYS take Strechy Arms Power-Up Fruit
Kobuko items
- ALWAYS build Evenshroud on Kobuko
- If you have extra Rods, can build Crownguard on Kobuko
- Any tank items work for Kobuko
Yasuo items
- EON is core item on Yasuo
- IE would be best damage item but can flex with anything
- TG would also be fin on Yasuo
Opener
- Any opener would do, GP will give you more Econ
- If no GP, try to get Midas Touch Power-Up Fruit on your current carry to make more econ
- Prioritize IE ALWAYS
Level 6 board
- ALWAYS roll at level 6 for GP level 3. You may think is troll to roll at 6 without having 4 Mentor in, BUT GP will make you tons of econ so WHO CARES about the Mentor synergy early game
- If you really want to be picky and have Mentor in, can use Daruis and Zac over Udyr and Yasuo
- ALWAYS build Evenshroud for Kobuko (if not then GG)
- After you 3-Star GP, then hit level 7 (even if Kobuko is not level 3, just do it)
Level 7 Board
- Stay level 7 until you 3-Star Yasuo
- No need for Senna level 3, it's a waste of space and gold
- ALWAYS position GP, Yas, and Kobuko like this (can flap this positioning around)
- This board is strong enought to win EVERYGAME (if you get bot 4, either your lobby was too strong, or you did soemthing wrong)
- Good +1 units are any Edgelord units to give Yasuo more power
Power-Up Fruits
Gangplank
- Stretchy Arms: BIS (Force this Fruit on Stage 4 NO MATTER WHAT)
- Midas Touch: to farm early game with
- Hemorrhage: can take early game for damage
Kobuko
- Resistant: makes Kobuko unkillable
- Round Two: extra frontline
- Unstoppable: funny to watch and Kobuko runs people down
- Tank-Zilla: extra CC
- Corrosive: no sunder (armor break), no problem
Yasuo
- Unflinching: CC imunity and some lifesteal
- Final Boss: some lifesteal and gets more damage for ally that dies
I prefer GP and Kobuko to have fruit, never Yas
Augments
- Reroll Augments help get GP level 3 faster
- Radiant Items makes GP hit hardder
- Any artifact is good, but try to get Collector for GP
- Keepers is 99% a must take
- ONLY tank Solo Leveling IF you have a frontline level 2 or GP start
Playstyles
Win Streak:
- Stage 2-1 level to 4 (if you dont have a level 2 unit, skip this part until you find a level 2 unit)
- Stage 2-3 make 10g
- Stage 2-5 level to 5
- Stage 3-2 level to 6 and roll down to at least 32g to stabilize
- After you get GP level 3, push for level 7
- Once you get Kobuko and Yasuo level 3, then you can push for level 8 and throw out an Edgelord unit
Lose Streak:
- Don't level
- Try to make 10g every round
- If too weak during krug round, level up to win the round
- Stage 3-2 level to 6 and roll down to at least 32g to stabilize
- After you get GP level 3, push for level 7
- Once you get Kobuko and Yasuo level 3, then you can push for level 8 and throw out an Edgelord unit
