Legendary Board Strategy
This composition can essentially be considered a Legendary Board, meaning its true potential is unlocked when you start with Crystal Gambit opener and play for a lost streak to maximize your cashout. This setup yields the best results.
However, if you don’t hit a Gambit start, you can still play this board effectively by utilizing fast level 9 augments. That said, even without either option, it's still possible to reach this board through logical play and solid fundamentals.
Early Game: Building Your Streak
- Maintain a solid win streak throughout the early stages (around stages 2-5).
- Use strong early game openers like Mech.
- AP items can go on Lucian, while bruiser/offtank items like Bloodthirster or Sterak's Gage can go on Gangplank to generate gold through his ability.
- Place tank items on Aatrox to stabilize your frontline.
Mid Game: Scaling and Transitioning
- As the game progresses, start adding key units like Udyr.
- Transition your carry items to stronger units such as Karma or Ryze.
- Make sure to add 4 Mentors, which is usually enough to hold you until level 9 or 10, depending on how well you're hitting.
⚠️ In some games, you’ll need to roll at level 8 if you're low on HP or need to stabilize.
Late Game: Hitting the Cap
- Level 9 is the power spike – this is where you want to roll aggressively to hit your core units.
- After stabilizing, look to push level 10 as fast as possible to fully cap your board and secure the win.
- Depending on the version and your items, you’ll spread them across your final units accordingly.
