How TFT Edgelord Works
Edgelord Trait Bonus
Edgelords gain Omnivamp and Attack Damage. While attacking enemies under 50% Health, they gain 40% Attack Speed.
- (2) 10% Omnivamp, 15% AD
- (4) 12% Omnivamp, 35% AD
- (6) 15% Omnivamp, 50% AD
Edgelords are great at sustaining themselves in longer fights thanks to their inherent Omnivamp. Gaining increased Attack Speed against low Health targets also helps them consistently apply more pressure. Going vertical may be a bit overkill, but as far as two-piece bonuses go this is a great one to pick up, even when it only benefits the Edgelords themselves.
Edgelord Synergy
Here’s a rundown of the traits you can branch into from Edgelord:
- Shen – The Crew / Bastion
- Xayah – Star Guardian
- Yasuo – Mentor
- Samira – Soul Fighter
- Volibear – Luchador
- Yone – Mighty Mech
Unfortunately there are no additional synergies between any of the Edgelords, though given the ability you’re going to want a pair regardless.
TFT Edgelord Champions
Shen The Crew Bastion Edgelord 2g
Shen’s ability shields himself before empowering the next few attacks with true damage. Simple on the surface, but with three traits at 2-cost he’ll make a very nice inclusion into many comps. The combination of Bastion + Edgelord gives him great splash potential, opening your options if you do decide to go The Crew route.
Xayah Star Guardian Edgelord 2g
Xayah gains increased attack speed for a few attacks, then deals physical damage to her target and two nearby foes. She’s a pretty straightforward backline carry, but with her unique Star Guardian bonus, she also deals magic damage on every third attack. Edgelord synergies probably won’t fit if you go vertical, but it does unlock some nice bonuses during the early to mid game.
Yasuo Mentor Edgelord 3g
Yasuo’s Unsheath the Storm deals physical damage to the three nearest enemies. As a Mentor, his unique ability grants Attack Speed to your entire team, making him a great addition to many comps. Edgelord pairs very well with this, getting you more than your money’s worth when you put them together.
Samira Soul Fighter Edgelord 4g
Samira’s Soul Shot ability deals damage to her target, then she dashes a short distance while building up stacks of Omnivamp and “Style”. Once acquiring enough stacks (up to 4), her full power triggers, casting Inner Arsenal Unleashed. This deals a ton of damage to a group of enemies before resetting back to zero. Between her ability, Edgelord, and Soul Fighter, Samira can stack up a ton of power and sustain during combat.
Volibear Luchador Edgelord 4g
Volibear passively deals extra physical damage every few attacks, plus immediately slams his foes when they become his new target. Once Ursine Instinct activates, he gains increased Attack Speed, Omnivamp, and crowd control immunity. Combine all of this with Edgelord + Luchador and you can only begin to imagine just how durable he is. Assuming you can enable both traits, Volibear will be a tough nut to crack.
Yone Mighty Mech Edgelord 5g
Yone gains both Attack and Movement Speed after every attack, while also alternating between dealing bonus magic damage or true damage. As for his active ability, it sends an echo towards the furthest two enemies, dealing a ton of physical damage while knocking them up. There’s no cap on his speeds, meaning the longer the fight goes, the more threatening he becomes. A perfect match with Edgelord.
