Intro
Small changes can have huge effects. Move a chair 100 years ago and K3Soju would never have been born. Likewise, Samira got a small buff this patch to her spell's cast time and ability to fizzle, and all of a sudden, she's the strongest 1 cost unit in the game. With 3 items, even at 2 star, she's doing insane amounts of damage, and at 3 star, she's wiping entire teams.
Early Game
3 Noxus is a broken opener right now. Swain, Cassio, and Samira all got buffed this patch, so put them all on your board if you can. Kled is a fine substitute if you can't hit one of the others.
Commit to Samira reroll under the following conditions:
- No one else is playing it (being contested decreases your chance of hitting drastically)
- You've naturalled a lot of Samiras/Cassios
- You have good items (see section below)
- (Optional) Reroll augment (Golden Ticket, On a Roll, etc.)






Items
Samira really wants 2 things from her items: hybrid stats and mana generation.
Hybrid stats (items that give AD and AP) are strong because Samira's AP scaling increases the armor reduction on her ability. The ideal play pattern is that after a few casts, Samira has reduced the enemy armor to below 0, which increases her damage a ton. Of course, she's an AD carry, so AD is still strong on her. For this reason, items like Gunblade, Guardbraeker, Hand of Justice, and Spear of Shojin are BIS on Samira.
Mana generation is self explanatory. She has such a low mana cost and gets so many kills that Blue Buff is extremely strong. But even something like Spear of Shojin (as mentioned above) is very strong to speed up her casts and allow her to get enemy armor into the negatives faster.
For this reason, something like Blue Buff, Giant Slayer, Hextech Gunblade is likely BIS. If you can get a crit item like Infinity Edge or Jeweled Gauntlet, then the priority of crit items like Hand of Justice or Guardbreaker goes up a lot.

When to Roll for 3 Stars
As with any 1 cost reroll comp, we want to reroll at the lowest level possible. That's why, ideally, we put no gold into leveling during stage 2, and then we roll a lot of gold at stage 3-1, the last round before we naturally level to 5. By default, I'd roll to 32 gold (because this will guarantee that you're 50g in 2 rounds unless you have to buy units). At that point, if you've very close to Samira/Cassio (1-2 copies off of hitting), I'd continue to reroll. If not, then wait until you have more gold or you natural more copies and then roll again. You also want to be picking up the other Noxus units so that you can play the midgame board.

Once you've hit Samira 3 and Cassio 3 (or realized that one of them is too far away, example if you hit Samira 3 but only hit 4 Cassios, it's fine to skip Cassio 3), push to level 6 and play 6 Noxus. This will be a huge power spike and will carry you to level 7. At Level 7, ideally add Warwick since he's a Challenger and Juggernaut. At 7, get to 50g and then slow roll (roll your gold above 50) for Swain 3, Darius 3, Katarina 3 (Kled 3 is okay, can go for it if you have a ton of gold).

- Ekko 3 star (especially with Noxus emblem)
- Yasuo/Kaisa (Challenger is nice for Samira but it's very unlikely you can itemize them)
- Aatrox (for 4 Juggernaut with Warwick and Nasus)
- Ryze (most Ryzes are broken this patch- look for Ionia, Freljord, and Noxus especially)
- Senna (just good unit lol)
