Zoe Reroll - A Guide and Discussion on a Strong Underrated comp.

Hey, how's it going. My name is DakiniBrave and I'm a content creator for TFT. I am a multiseason Grandmaster player with tournament experience and I'm here to tell you a little bit about a line I've been experimenting with over the past few weeks.

Zoe Reroll is a line with a lot of flexibility and definitely something you can tech into from AP spots if you natural a lot of copies. There are a few requirements however but I will go into that breifly as I explore the lines that I've toyed with further into the guide.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 star frontline with either Illaoi 3 (preferred) or Amumu 3
• Zoe 3 (Duh)

REALLY GOOD TO HAVES

• Jeweled Lotus (pref prismatic)
• Secondary carry such as Syndra AND/OR Lissandra

This comp has a higher cap as it naturally fits lisandra in its tree allowing you to play another random legendary alongside on 9 if you dont beat the lobby by then.

REQUIREMENTS

• Zoe 3
• Illaoi or Diana 3

REALLY GOOD TO HAVES

• Annie tank tech on 8 as a secondary tank if you didnt hit both Illaoi and Diana 3
• Early game tempo to push 8 before rerolling due to the amount of 4s you can fit on the board.
• Morgana 2 as your side carry/shiv morello holder.

if you hit Zoe REALLY early and are not close to Illaoi or Diana you can then attempt to play around Annie 2* as your main tank though this line is unexplored.

• Call to Adventure OR Storyweaver Spat (ideally both)

REALLY GOOD TO HAVES

• Frontline based augments
• Jeweled Lotus (FOR THE KAYLE)

This line while also a little unexplored, have dominated a lobby with due to the interaction between Kayle and Jeweled Lotus.

GREEN BLUE BLUE Is preferred IMO as the AP Kayle gets from Call to Adventure and the storyweaver trait makes first blue kinda mediocre though it helps the zoe if you cant secure Archangels. However BLUE BLUE BLUE is still good with a Shiv/Spark opener.

Irelia is not a great unit to run on this board due to how AP heavy it is. That being said Irelia 2 is Irelia 2 so if you can support her with items it will never do too poorly.

REALLY GOOD TO HAVES

• Hwei on 9 to hold items like shiv and morello

This line is very similar to the dragonlord version of the board however it leans more into the 2 costs which means out frontline is a little shaken up and we're forced to play a unit like naut to activate warden.

I will link a secondary variant of this board that runs a neeko to activate arcanist instead of illaoi and plays around a Riven Reroll alongside but its very messy and requires you to reroll on 6/7 instead of 8 with tempo which is where the Arcanist version shines.

ZOE ARTIFACTS

• Ludens Goes without Saying one of her best items in terms of her single target burst on first target hit. Had a lot of success with this in higher elo tournament lobbies on PBE.
• Manazane I'm hesitant to call this a shojin replacer since Zoe scales up as the fight goes on, however it is a decent Nashors replacement.
• Gold Collector Something Important to note is that ZOE DOES NOT NEED TO GET THE FINAL KILL TO INCREASE RICHOCHETS, THE ENEMY JUST HAS TO DIE. That aside this does allow her to secure kills a lot easier and secure money, some of the other comps can have a dot dps like morgana hold this however.
• Talisman of Ascension Rabadons replacement, plays more for stall. Try this in an experimental vertical warden line or the arcanist warden line to get value.

Side Carry Artifacts

• Blighting Crystal Being one of the newer items, this item does need a little explaining. EVERY single magic damage tick decreases the enemy's Magic Resistance. This means Syndra with every single ball and Morgana with every DoT tick will reduce Magic Resist. Take this if you are angling those comps. DO NOT PUT THIS ITEM ON ZOE

Tank Artifacts

• Eternal Winter, Diamond Hands, Anima These don't really need an introduction. Having been a long mainstay on the artifact lineup, these items are extremely flexible and do insane work on the frontline if you whiff on damage items.
• Forbidden Idol I'd really only pick this in the arcanist warden line and put it on Illaoi. Crownguard has really nice synergy with this and increasing Illaoi's AP increases her shield. Also good with Redemption/Dragon's Claw
• Inervating Locket Decent Illaoi Item, Really good Diana and Annie Item. Not much to say other than that.

These comps are incredibly experimental as I am but one person and there isn't a large sample size with these varients. Please discuss with friends or with me on Twitter/Discord, share your anecdotes and I will try to update this guide as more info comes to light.

Info on the Below Reciepts.

• Picture one, Arcanist Warden Zoe. Hit an early Lissandra on 7, pushed 8 and rerolled there. Lissandra dictated my gameplan.
• Picture 2, Call to Adventure. Got an emblem from carousel which was somewhat highroll, do aim for spats if you can.
• Picture 3, VERY EXPERIMENTAL 6 WARDEN TALISMAN ZOE, This line has potential however I was heavily contested on Illaoi and was 1 off Amumu 3 which likely would have stabilised me. Also this was NERFED Talisman on the B-Patch.
• Picture 4, Lowroll game. Zoe was 2 way contested & Illaoi was 3 way contested. Still managed a 5th despite not hitting which if that is not a testiment to its strength then I dont know what is.
