GENERAL INFORMATION
When is Choncc’s Treasure Coming to Live Servers?
This fun mode will drop on July 16, 2025 and is already available on LIVE SERVER
Choncc’s Treasure is a casual game mode in TFT Set 14 that brings wild loot drops when your health dips below a certain level. You’ll also get a random four⭐ or five⭐ champion at the start of the game! Use it for Econ or strengthen your board. Plus, expect loads of loot orbs—you might even hit that perfect three-star legendary champion if you play the shop odds right.
Find the Choncc’s Treasure event under the TFT tab in the League client. It’s a for-fun mode (no Ranked here), and everyone gets the same amount of loot and champions—though the drops may vary between players in your lobby.

GENERAL TUTORIAL
Hello, my name is Tomasz – Grandmaster/Challenger
Today, I spent 20 hours crafting this small but powerful guide for Choncc’s Treasure mode in TFT!
All the best comps are right here 👉 Comps Spreadsheet
REMEMBER: This mode is purely 4FUN – this guide is just here to help you win while having fun!
Every Stage Loot Drop Explained:
1️⃣ Stage 1:
- Random items
- Example: Half-item components (e.g., a Belt)
2️⃣ Stage 2.2:
- 1 Full random item
- 1 Random champion worth 4 gold
- Some gold
3️⃣ Stage 3.5:
- 2x Neeko’s Help for 1⭐/2⭐/3⭐ costs
- 1 Random artifact item
- Gold
4️⃣ Stage 4.5:
- Full random items
- Large gold drop
- Neeko’s Help
- Random 5-cost champion
5️⃣ Stage 5.5:
- 1 Full random item
- A huge gold drop
6️⃣ Stage 6.5:
- A massive gold drop
- Force of Nature
- Neeko’s Help
Bonus Drop: If your HP drops below 50%, you’ll get a unique drop just for you!
Early Game Strategy: Focus on Economy
At the start:
- Build as much econ as possible
- Aim to high-roll for 4-cost ⭐⭐⭐ units and legends
- Your early random 4⭐ or 5⭐ unit sets the tone for your game – use it wisely!
How to Reach Level 8:
This step is key to maximizing your comp’s power:
-
If you’re on a win streak, stay strong and push to level 7 by Stage 3.1
-
If you’re losing, don’t be afraid to spend 20 gold at level 6 to stabilize your board
-
Don’t ignore mid-game power spikes! Example:
- Rolling for Draven/Galio or Elise
- But don’t skip over strong units like Yummi or Varus – they help you stabilize until level 8
How to Reach Level 9:
If you have a powerful board:
- Push to level 9 while maintaining 50 gold econ
- Roll down to 50 gold (always leave at least 10)
- Prioritize legendary units that hold items well
Pro Tip:
- Every patch has stronger/weaker champions
- Adapt your comp – there are 6 versions of a legendary board you can play!
Final Entry Strategy at Level 9:
Sometimes you’ll need to force a power play:
- Roll aggressively to 0 gold to hit legends or 4-cost carries
- If you drop to 15-20 HP, rebuild econ to 30-40 gold and roll again
- Remember: High risk = high reward, but try to minimize risk just like in Poker
Is this risky? Yes, but sometimes it’s the only way to climb back for a comeback win!
1/2 COSTS
In my opinion, no!
This is a 4FUN mode designed to help you create level three ⭐⭐⭐ units like 4-cost or 5-cost champions.
Instead of just hyper-rolling, focus on:
- Crafting enchanted boards
- Having fun while experimenting with crazy comps!
- Enjoying high-roll moments and wild plays
At the end of the day, it’s all about the fun and those satisfying, overpowered boards!
ITEMS
Assembling items quickly is even more important in this mode than in Ranked!
Why?
-
You don’t want to lose health early – staying healthy means staying in the game longer!
-
Even if you have a weaker item, it’s worth assembling – for example:
-
Renata (currently the strongest 2-cost champion this patch)
-
Best items for her:
- Adaptive Helm
- Spear of Shojin
-
In this mode, you’ll also:
- Get more item drops than usual
- Build stronger leads early on
So don’t hesitate to slam those items early – it’s often the smartest play in Choncc’s Treasure mode!
